ON / OFF - Permanent switching on / off.
The functions ON and OFF are selected with T time range adjusting knob. In the ON function, the normally open contacts are closed all the time whereas in the OFF function they are open. The preset measurement time is of no significance in these functions. The ON or OFF functions are used for the time relay operation control in electric systems.

Günstig, aber gut!

Das Zeitrelais habe ich zur Realisierung einer automatischen Zeitabschaltung für eine Lampe genutzt, welche zum Schutz vor Überhitzung nur für eine gewisse Dauer betrieben werden darf und somit zuverlässig nach einer gewissen Betriebsdauer abgeschaltet werden soll, falls ich vergesse, dies händisch zu tun. Dieses Relais habe ich gewählt, da dieses im Vergleich zu Produkten von namhaften Herstellern wie etwa Finder nur etwa die Hälfte kostet, es sich hierbei aber dennoch nicht um ein typisches Noname-Chinaprodukt dubioser Herkunft mit zweifelhaftem CE-Konformität handelt. Die ordentliche Dokumentation in Form eines vollständigen Datenblatts konnte mich zusätzlich überzeugen.

Erster Eindruck nach dem Auspacken: Hochwertig in einem Blister verpackt, saubere Beschriftung und auch sonst eine Fertigungsqualität, die keine Mängel aufweist. Mittlerweile habe ich das Relais gehaust und es erfüllt seine Funktion. Durch die zwei vorhandenen Wechselkontakte erlaubt das allpolige Schalten, als auch die Realisierung wahlweise eines Einschaltwischers oder einer Einschaltverzögerung. Der seitliche Aufdruck mit Funktionsdiagrammen und Schaltschema ist ebenfalls sehr komfortabel, da hierdurch ein Blick ins Datenblatt eingespart wird. Eine Indikation des aktuellen Schaltzustands ist über die beiden integrierten LEDs gegeben.
